Martin
LaMar is the Regional Vice President of McCormack Baron Salazar. With his
career, Mr. LaMar aims to make an impact on housing, social, health, and
education policies. He specializes in strategy development and organizational
planning, community and economic development, public-private partnerships, full
P&L and people leadership, accountability, top-line growth, multi-location
operations, data analysis, information and technology, planning and
infrastructure, public relations and community affairs, financial analysis and
budget oversight; real estate acquisition, development, and planning;
fundraising, and rebranding.
In
the past, Mr. LaMar worked with the Atlanta Housing Authority, holding
positions such as Senior Project Manager, Director of Business Operations, and
Director of Policy, Development, and Regulatory Affairs. He had shared his
expertise with the Philadelphia Housing Authority as its Senior Vice President
and Director of Resident Services and with Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority
as its President and Chief Executive Officer.
His
education serves as the cornerstone of his professional career. Martin LaMar
received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Alabama A&M University.
Mr. LaMar went on to pursue higher education, graduating from Brenau University
for his master’s in Business Administration. He obtained his master’s in Social
Work and Public Administration from the University of Washington.
