About Martin LaMar
Currently
the Regional Vice President of McCormack Baron Salazar, Martin Lamar has more
than 10 years of broad-based experience in the
operations and management of affordable housing, which includes an in-depth knowledge of affordable and public
housing programs. Mr. LaMar carries full-management responsibility and
oversight of the financial, operational, marketing, and budgetary aspects of
the McCormack Baron Management communities within his territory.
Operation
re-engineering, public health initiatives, strategic city planning or
demographic study, multi-unit service center, development, labor relations and
negotiations, emergency management and disaster recovery, public policy
development and implementation, and labor
and industry relations are among the
areas of business that Mr. LaMar specializes in. He regularly partakes in activities and
events led by the Pittsburgh Trust, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and the
University of Washington Alumni Association.
With
his career, Mr. LaMar focuses on the issues, the people affected by the issues, and the solutions permitting each to be
better. He is involved with organizations such
as the YMCA, City of St. Louis, City
of Chicago, City of Jackson, Department of Housing and Urban Development, State
of Missouri, State of Illinois, State of Mississippi, and Sun America.
